Privacy Policy
Apicus collects only what it needs to do its work. It does not sell your information. It does not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes. If you receive communications from Apicus, you can opt out in one click and will never hear from it again. That is the whole story. The rest of this page explains the details.
This policy applies to anyone who visits apicus.ai, submits an audit request, fills out a contact form, or otherwise provides information to Apicus, LLC (“Apicus,” “we,” “us”).
This automatic data is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described in more detail below.
Apicus uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to improve the experience over time.
You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Doing so may affect some site functionality but will not prevent you from accessing content.
We use the information you provide for the following purposes only.
To deliver the service. If you are a client, we use your practice information, credentials, and access to build and measure your AI referral infrastructure. This is the core use and the reason the information exists.
To communicate with you. If you have requested an audit, submitted a contact form, or become a client, we may contact you by email or SMS. Every communication Apicus sends is intended to be useful — audit results, methodology updates, observations relevant to your market, or service-related notices. We do not send promotional blasts, third-party offers, or anything we would not want to receive ourselves.
To improve the site and service. Aggregate, anonymized analytics data helps us understand what is working and what is not.
To comply with legal obligations. We retain records as required by applicable law.
If you opt into email or SMS communications, here is what you can expect.
We do not purchase contact lists. We do not add contacts to distribution lists without explicit opt-in. We do not re-subscribe anyone who has opted out.
We do not sell your information. Under any circumstances. To anyone. Ever.
We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your contact details, practice information, and engagement data are not shared, licensed, rented, or traded.
We do not use your data to build advertising audiences. We do not feed your information into Meta, Google, or any ad platform for audience targeting.
Within Apicus, access to client and prospect information is limited to personnel directly involved in delivering the service. As a lean, founder-operated firm, that circle is small by design.
We work with a limited set of third-party tools to operate the business — analytics, email delivery, secure credential sharing, and document storage. These tools process data on our behalf under terms consistent with this policy. We do not allow them to use your data for their own purposes.
If Apicus is ever acquired or merged, client and prospect data would transfer to the successor entity under terms no less protective than this policy. We would notify affected parties before any such transfer.
We retain your information for as long as necessary to deliver the service and meet legal requirements. If you are a prospect who did not become a client, we retain contact information for a reasonable period to follow up on your inquiry and then remove it from active systems. You may request deletion at any time.
You have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@apicus.ai. We respond to all requests within 10 business days during operating hours.
Apicus takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information in its care. Platform access credentials from clients are collected exclusively through encrypted secure-sharing links — never via email or standard web forms. We do not store passwords in plaintext.
No system is perfectly secure. If a security incident affects your information, we will notify you promptly and describe the steps being taken.
Apicus is a B2B service for healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will remove it.
If we update this policy in a material way, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify active clients directly. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
